Just Flight® / Aeroplane Heaven® DH-98 Mosquito

Manual cover

This is a very good package, or more accurately, set of packages. I enjoyed flying it very much, even though it made a monkey of me on landings right up to this writing. In terms of the flight model and the visual model, there is just nothing much to criticize. The number of variants if you get the two add-on packs is very good and there are enough visual differences, inside and out, to make each one interesting in its own rite – it’s more than just paint in most cases. The AC interior is very interesting to explore and there are a few surprises and unexpected things to encounter and in some cases, to operate. Look everywhere! See if you can find the valve for the alternate static port.

If you love the history of AC like this you’ll feel like you’re a part of it when you strap this thing on. It’s a fun thing to fly but you’ll work hard to navigate on long flights unless your pilotage skills are up to snuff and the weather is good. I believe this software release of the Mosquito mimics the real thing quite well within the constraints of FS. It just feels authentic and right in almost every respect. It performs well and doesn’t do anything unexpected. I think this is what they mean when they use the term, “…a pilot’s airplane.”

Royal Navy Version

Congratulations Just Flight and Aeroplane Heaven on a great package. I really had a great time with this one.
