  1. After purchasing the Razbam Metroliner III i decided to start Air Hauler again and create a new company. Because I own the PNW ORBX region i decided to start at Skagit Regional Airport a reasonable sized airfield with a 5000ft runway somewhere between Seattle and Vancouver. As the Metroliner had an Ameriflight paint of the cargo version i decided that this would be my company. To start with this aircraft i had to start at medium difficulty, i changed the aircraft.cfg before importing the aircraft to reduce the cargo room and trick Air Hauler into creating flights with a lot less of cargo,
  2. The first day of flying was a blast, had some cargo runs to the wadden islands of the Netherlands and Germany with some small airstrips. It was a hard day at the office since visibility was minimum in the Netherlands. The day ended scarier then i wanted to, without checking the flight briefing to much i was doing a night flight to Germany with some life poultry on board. As i came closer to the airport i just couldn't see it, it appeared to be a none lighted grass air strip, with one turnaround and helped by my gps and landing lights i was able to find the strip and land the airplane in one
  3. Just started again with the Carenado Mooney as start plane, 198k to buy so i just made it moneywise (200k). In my first flight atm to the german island of Borkum. This plane has a good speed (180kn max cruise) and an ap so i prefer this one as start plane. On my way to a Visual approach low visibility and a short runway, clouds at 400ft. So i hope my landing will be ok.
  4. A new company has just started. I play career mode. The first thing to do was to sort out a base, i had good contacts in Drachten, the Netherlands and i could open a cheap base here. Selling the starting 172 was priority, bought a New c172s2 by Carenado. Starring my first flight now, pics and the rest will follow spon. Happy flying. Just found out my plane doesn't have an ap. Will be hard first flights.
  5. Same name, it is possible to lease from 50% rep and up right ?? only downside is that African Air Strip adventures has airfields but they are not listed in the game as airfields, apart from my base and 1 other.. this means Air Hauler will not recognize them so i c myself flying to Nairobi most of the time which is about 90nm.. second day of work will begin now, it is hard to get this small plane in the air with a big load,, but i like a challenge... well second day of flying, will let you guys know
  6. Alright guys, first of all sorry for the other topic!(can be deleted) Couldn't make up my mind, Netherlands was too boring (easy landings and airports and Alaska looked like crap with a terrible FPS. Now i own Africa Airstrip Adventures which has great scenery, so i start my hauling business in Kenya.. Nanyuki Airstrip to be precise. I start on hard this time, selling my first C172 to buy a 182RG, big mistake because the 182 was too expensive, i ended up buying the 172 again leaving me with no money! At least i have a plane so it's time for business, first flight was a cargo flight to N
  7. If someone can delete this topic i will start over!
  8. This is really my last change, lol Alaska Scenery just didn't do it for me and fps was terrible and it also looked bad, now i remember buying african airstrip adventure a while ago.. so my final and real startup will be in Kenya on Nanuyiki Airfield on Mount Kenya.... I will start up the career mode the hard way, selling my standard C172 and buying the C182Q, I will keep you guys posted about my progress on this rough terrain with small dirt/sand/grass and other bumpy airstrips. i am using REX btw, and Air Hauler is not doing the weather, so i manually start with real world weather in FSX,
  9. After only a day of work i got bored by the flat landscape and got annoyed by the enormous competition of the road parcel service who are much cheaper.. With this in mind i decided to close my business and start off in a brand new location where aircraft are much more needed for transportation, ALASKA... i decided to leap into this adventure and open base in Anchorage, i mountanious area... Lake Hood strip only needed a small fee and this is where i will start my new business,,... A much more demanding area and people where in need of a good air parcel service altough competition is fierce
  10. Today was the first day of business. A cargo flight to a small airport in Germany near Dusseldorf and picking up some cargo on Dusseldorf Int. on the way back. It was an evening flight returning back to base at 11 in the evening, despite some rough weather i had 3 easy greaser landings, and ended up needing only a quarter of my 3000ft (1000meter) runway, As far as planning concerned, the main goal is to hire an extra pilot and buy a small cessna for him, as i will let nobody fly my trusted otter! Coming home i found a letter in the mailbox signed by a Chief Clown, saying he gives me an ult

Sadly i can't log on to the AH radar yet since i can't register at Air Hauler.net i simply do not get my confirmation e-mail, tried hotmail, gmail and upc adress so it has nothing to do with my e-mail server, i quess they are having some issues on their server.. As for keeping you guys updated i just started my Air Hauler company the story is on this forum, new to the story telling so it might not be as good as yours and the others on this forum, but i am trying to keep you guys informed!
  12. On a rainy June day in Holland i was sitting at home and suddenly felt that my job was not suited for me, accounting; which will probably not sound appealing to any of you either. Half an hour later i decided to call my boss to quit my job. Years ago on an outing in Alaska i got my pilot license and flew the dehavilland twin otter for a few months. I decided that i wanted to do something with my license, since it had been lying at home collecting dust. Having some experience in the cargo and express business i decided that i wanted to start an air cargo company in the Netherlands. The only

Thanks for the welcome and quick reply, i am glad that i am misinformed, on easy mode dekking my lear just left me with enough money buying the otter, doing my first flights now!! So a plane and no money, excactly how i wanted to start.. Btw any good painters around who are willing to do a repaint for me? Love the program so far, just delivered some compact disks from ehle the Netherlands (base) to Germany. Have fsx on real (all), first landing was ok, love feeling the pressure of landing smoothly, btw how do ypu get the map with fellow online pilots in Air Hauler? Note: to make the game

I want to start my air hauler career with my favourite aerosoft twin otter, in order to do so i have to start on.easy mode, i have red somewhere that this also changes How your landings are rated and the failure setting is this true? Because i want to start with enough money but landing difficulty etc set to hard, is there any way around this?
