  2. Hi, I've got 2 Opencockpit cards for sale, the master card and the expansion card. I also have 2 rotary encoders for sale. These cards are in excellent condition. Open to offers. Can be bought together or seperate. Tom
  3. Hi Jack, thanks for that just one question, when you say the "input connector" does this mean the opencockpits encoder or the ribbon cabel? I think I'll just stick with what I've got, I don't want to be spending any more money on the cards but thanks for the link anyway. Tom
  4. Ok , I've tried but can't seem to get it to work. When you were talking about wires 39 5v and 40 GRD, I am assuming you are referring to wires 39 and 40 on the ribbon cable? Also, one more question, how do I know which terminal is positive and which is negative? Thanks Tom
  5. Thanks Jack for your detailed reply I'll go and see if I can test them and I'll post back. Tom
  6. Hi Jack, I think it has 5 but to be honest I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Does this picture help?
  7. Ok Jack, that's now done, do I now solder my rotery encoder onto the wire?
  8. Thanks Jack, so just to confirm I seperated the ends all the way down to the mastercard?
  9. Thanks for the tip Jack, I've now connected the blue end as that would give me the most cabel. What do I do now I've cut the cabel? Great link Nico, thanks!
  10. Is there any way to check that the black side is the 40 female pins one as both sides fit? I don't want to cut of the wrong one!
  11. Hi Jack, here are some photos:
  12. Ok, I've connected the ribbon cabel to J3. Just wanted to check something, one end is blue and the other is black, I've connected the black end, is this correct? What's the next step? Thanks Tom
  13. Ok, thanks Jack, I've ordered the IDC cabel so as soon as I've got it connected I'll post back. Thanks again for your help!
  14. Hi Jack, I've now got the cards joined together and I can see that they are working through the SIOC software. What should I do now?
  15. Ok, thanks Jack, I'll get them put together and post back once finished. Thanks Tom
