    Spitfire

Display bottle my backside Mut, where'd you hide the contents, and do you have more? My Spitfire inventory is, sadly, now dwindling at a very dishonourable 2 bottles...the other 22 have been 'taste tested' over the course of the last 3 weeks by my good self....
  5. i think that the 'he' in the front seat is a 'she', and she, in this video at least, appears to be the passenger.....not only that, but the pair of them seem to have a good few changes of clothes between them and the entire video length, one example being the pilot starts out in a short-sleeved orange coloured shirt, which changes to a long-sleeved yellow & blue/black rugby type shirt, then to a short-sleeved white t-shirt...amazing feat of aviation fashion parading.
  6. mark, congratulations...i have only one word for that shot, and a worthy winner it is too....the word: sublime!
  7. I've flown in that from on my way back from the Falklands!!
  8. excellent news JD, keep us informed and get some pre-, during and post shots up!!
  9. ...did Malaysian Airlines do the 'hibiscus' livery on the 767?...That'd be lovely to see ;-)
  10. i can see this repaint going down into the books as one of the best level-d offerings in a long while!
  11. i watched it too, Kate's dress was impeccably gorgeous, and her sister Pippa looked stunning also (she's now in my 'must do' list top 3)...but, as DA says, some of the lesser Royals looked dubious, although it was great to see so many British designers being showcased....and does anybody else think Kates dressed looked just a bit like Grace Kelly's? Grace Kelly's Dress...... Oh, one more thing, the Aston Martin that Wills drove Kate to Clarence House in was great - i want one! also, was a nice surprise to see the SAR Sea King doing a quick flypast.
  12. i'm loving that RB, you'll have to teach me how to use the Pen tool sometime - i never seem to get such great lines!!!
  13. Well 'Future' is the American name for it, so you won't find that over here. As for ASDA and Tesco, i'm surprised that you haven't found it in there, although saying that I've had some problems trying to locate it until I found the new bottle/label design as depicted on your 2nd Amazon link. the first link shows what Klear used to look like, so if you find that it'll be the better version of the mix as far as i can tell from forum chatter. The only other places I can suggest are Sainsburys (where i picked it up for £3.74) and, believe it or not, i've heard it to have been stocked in the 'Poun
  14. jd, which shops have you tried...i've managed to find klear in a few supermarkets locally under its new guise 'Pledge multi-surface wax' for about £4 per 750ml bottle.
  15. Can they now.... interesting, any chance you could point me in the right direction john? i can't seem to find any notice to it in afcad?
  16. thanks again john, and also thanks to jd, your help is much appreciated, the tutorials are really useful! Just for info john, as far as i'm led to believe, both fssc and sbuilder are used for altering the terrain for flattening. Sbuilder more so than fssc, as it can be used to generate new and alter the existing terrain mesh. Fssc is, as far as i can work out, among other things, is utilised for making exclusion zones for the default autogen. I think i've got the basic list of things, just need to find a suitable location for the new airport and try my, albeit minimal, new skills...
  17. ah yes, i think i used that app very briefly before, not sure if i still have it but i'll have a dig around thanks for the help John!
  18. can anybody help? I've got AFCAD, and a couple other tools i'm lead to believe i need (sbuilder, fssc, and rwy12)....but how do i go about getting started? I've used afcad previously for editing existing airfields, but never creating a new one...could anyone point me in the right direction or hold my hand through the first few steps? Help would truly be appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Simi
  19. Roz i have, literally, almost wet myself with laughter watching that, awesome find, totally fantastic! I can't wait till that comes out in the cinema!
  20. nice stuff Keiran, great to see the DH.89a in use again, i simply love that A/C! one thing to note though, surely carrying those passengers must have added to the over all weight and increased your flight time ....?
  21. GF, i can really, honestly, say that the re-work is much more believable...good sense of scale, good choice of background, overall very nice composite Did you work on the shadow's or highlights at all, or any other lighting adjustments to the picture? I ask, as the only tiny niggle I have (as a fellow composite artist - see one of my pics here) is the 787 seems to be lit from the side facing us, and the fighter in the foreground looks to bit lit from above/behind the tail... but as i said above, its a really nice composite overall, and really well put together - great work!
  22. agree with both the above, a nice edit but some scale issues with the tanker and re-fuelling fighter... oh, and is that an ex-Air NZ 787 that the US are leasing/have bought?.....intriguing.
  23. my bad...i made a typo - should have been shed..... but you're right, i need to get them out and flying, might help to remove the dust they've accumulated!!
  24. right...where's my credit card!?! Mut, i'm sending Mrs. Av8r round for an explanation from you as to why i'm spending money!
  25. Mut, come up to my place, i've a few RC 'leccy bids gathering dust in my shed before ths years 'flying season' takes off (ed - pun itended...)
