  1. Rick, Thanks for bringing your mechanic back to the top I really can't wait for AH2 because I can't get AH to run on Prepar3D v2.3 I've tried every stinkin hack I know and so now I'm just waiting for AH2. Unfortunately, when I did the reformat and reinstall for the last update to Prepar3D, I forgot about making a copy of my AH files. That's ok.....I've been a rookie before and I'll do it again. Meanwhile, I'm keeping my scheduling skills current by playing Pocket Planes on my iPhone (I know....that's pathetic) Aloha Cargo will fly again Bobby
  2. Hi Lamar, Please let me know if and how you make it work. I was able to make it work fine with v1.4 using the Estonia Migration Tool. It forced Prepar3d to run in Legacy Mode but it worked. I tried to load AH in v2.1 but I had issues. Not sure why, could have been FSUIPC since Pete was trying to keep up with LM changing the versions. I did not try it with v2.2 since Slopey will be releasing AH2 sometime in the future. Bobby
  3. I am patiently (yeah...right ) waiting for AH 2. I only run Prepar3D v2.2 now and can't get the original AH to run right
  4. I have thought of setting up a base at Princess Julianna Airport on Saint Martin Island and running around the Caribbean. FlyTampa has some good scenery there and the Grenadines. Idaho has a boat load of small airfields that makes for great mountain flying and Megascenery Earth has released photo scenery for the area. I've got to think of setting up a new company myself. I just upgraded to Prepar3D v2 and FSUIPC and AH won't load into the upgrade so I think I'll wait till Duncan finished AH2 and hope it has a Prepar3D installer
  5. Of course, the downside of imparting human qualities to the AI pilots is that it's hard to fire them after the 3rd catastrophic landing. I should have fired my wife a long time ago
  6. Hi Chris, Welcome!!!!!! I run up and down the west coast so I will probably run into you out of my Kalamath or Portland ramps. Looking forward to your stories and screenshots. Bobby
  7. I have a question. When I ran my company on the Hawaiian Islands, I wanted it to only deliver cargo in Hawaii, not all over the South Pacific, so I just altered the range of the aircraft to do that. I learned that when John told someone else to do that because he wanted to fly short hops in his service area. Well, that company, although successful, went belly up because the IT person (me) failed to back up the company files before the computer system crashed. So I simply picked up the pieces and started a new company along the west coast of the United States. The problem was (is) I forgot
  8. Enjoyed reading your blog and viewing the excellent screenshots. Welcome and I look forward to reading your adventures. Bobby

    Newbie here...

Hi, After flying the sim for so may years starting with the Sublogic days, I was starting to lose interest. Buying Air Hauler was the best thing to ever happen to me with respect to flying the sim. It gave me a new purpose and got me flying again. Air Hauler relit the enjoyment and pleasure of flying. I forgot who it was who recommended Air Hauler to me....I think it was John over at the JustFlight forums....but I am very grateful to whomever it was. There are so many ways to tailor Air Hauler to whichever direction your imagination wants to go. Most importantly, it is fun Welcome

    AirHauler 2

    AH2 and Prepar3d going to DirectX 11 ..... Life is Good !!!!!!
  12. Lee, I agree with John. Writing that is well structured is a pleasure to read regardless of length. Continue to do what you do best. I enjoy reading your stories. It's nice to come here to Mr. Lawford's place and combine 2 pleasures at the same time, my love of flying and good literature. Bobby
  13. Excellent writing and pictures. Very cool way to end my evening with tea and a story
  14. I married mine so I can't fire her. I knew this Air Hauler obsession was getting out of hand when I hired people I knew
