Secret Project revealed - TACAN HSI Instrument for FSX
stu7708 replied to Aircraft Aviation's topic in Cockpit Building
Well then, you're more than :icon_welcomeani: . Glad I could help out in some small way. Hmm.. just a thought. It could be that FSUIPC includes the decimal value of 0, but for some reason prefers to use an Integer variable instead of a Floating variabel and due to that multipies by 10... and come to think of it, considering the decimal point on the instrument it's 550 you want to insert into SIOC, right? Well, I think I grasped the fundamental parts of it but it feels like there should be "neater" way of doing the count up/down part. I'm, as you no doubt already picked up on not familia -
On monday morning PMDG announced that the 737 NGX is close to release. It's been in interal Beta testing for about a month and they are planning to release it for external beta testing sometime during this week. If things work out ok in the external beta testing they also plan to publish an estimated release date within one or two days after the beta team gets the product. So if nothing big pops up they might publish a release date during this week :icon_thumbup: Along with this announcement they also published two new videos. Enjoy them, I sure did. Secret Project revealed - TACAN HSI Instrument for FSX

That was some impressive stuff.. and a perfect example for me on a practical use for the DC motors card Like Joe said the quality of the photos and video are very good, just one or two of the photos that was a bit off focus. Looking forward to seeing this used together with FSX... Oh, and as a little side note, that might cause some trouble in your scripts, I actually think the range meter runs up to 999.9 miles and not 9999. At least that's how I read it considering the big white dot after "RANGE" on the instrument. Still more than enough range for VOR:s but that makes less over the top.. -
Beautiful shots.. That Cat looks stunning.
-
If you do run into her, let her know my Seneca needs a spunge bath will you  Great shots. And a small question. What's the main difference between the DC-2 and DC-3, they look very similar. I do think that the only DC-3 i've been inside of had a 2+1 seating arrangement, so I guess it has a wider body. Any other big differnces??

It's there.. Right in the middle of Paris... And I've got mine in there too...

That's 99 old crones that couldn't get laid.... And as far as I've understood the Koran doesn't specificly say they have to be female either :th_smiles73:

Congratulations Mark. A great capture, and a well deserved winner...

Yikes. Those intricate lines, that I suppose is some sort of arabic writing, must be a handful.. Looks great.

I would guess that the Hawks is from Traffic. I met them to and I'm using the FSX verion (TrafficX). The was coming in to land as a was getting ready to enter the pattern. Had to hold for a little while to avoid being overtaken on finals.. lost me some time that I couldn't catch up on my way back to Southampton

Great stuff as usual Soya. Liked the Qantas shots best. Nice contrast between the big jets and the tiny little cessna :icon_thumbup:
-
Better than that one?? Then I shall look forward to them, cause that's a great one in mind..
-
Take a look at the features list.. impressive. And a sleek looking plane too. Product Page can be found here.

:001_th_smiles76: That's one stunning sunset...
-
Great capture, but like John I was expecting something rather different :001_th_smiles89:

Great shots Rob. But apart from two shots it looked awfully lonely for a group flight :th_smiles73:
-
mmm.. beer... ehm.. sorry, got a bit side tracked there.. Great shots. Hope the barbie is still on when I get there tomorrow night
-
Well, I was hoping I could convince Sharon to give the Seneca a spunge bath Keep your cameras on stand by :th_smiles73: As for the landing, I think it looks worse than it actually was on that shot. I felt pretty much in control all the way down. I set her down a bit late, but managed to turn of on to runway 36 with out to much fuss.
-
As you say John, it's that special position that does it. I think I've seen it before, and thought the same thing then. Might even have been in a review here on Mutley's.

Filled up and ready to go. Cowl flaps closed to reduce drag (Check) Passing some competition(?) wating for takeoff. Climbing out The office, keeping a close eye on those clouds Water and clouds, a familiar theme by now Like this angle! Found an off shore drilling platform. Finders keepers, right I think my plane is in need of a belly scrub. Now, who might I convince to clean her up for me? At least the english coast is coming in to view. Just a nice shot, with more water in it... Getting close to the lizard, came in a bit far to the north... Dry feet(!) for ab

Real men use 15/33 ! Nice post Rob :001_th_smiles89: No, no Joe.. With the current winds real men use runway 27, and stop before it converts to grass :th_smiles73: Great shots Rob, and I just can't decide what I think of the landing gear on this one.. it looks so darn odd it's almost charming

Leg 2 - Alderney (EGJA) to St Marys (EGHE)

That must be one of the strangest looking planes I've seen for some time. Great shots though.. -
Aye... and the worse part of it was that I hadn't even opened them myself. They were already in an open state when I switched over to the Seneca after loading the flight. But now I know to keep an eye on it.
