  4. And agreed bout the lovely factor of the Carenado models...worth the real $$$ (did i really spend over 65 bucks for 2 airplanes and a varient?...yes Virginia Simmer, I did). The Piper is gorgeous, and I am already familiar with the cockpit for the most part...my new favorite plane.
  5. Thanks for the fast replies guys. The mod to the .cfg file doesn't sound that intimidating...i'll give it a shot. Fortunately I haven't imported any yet, just took "check rides" via a local Aircraft "Agent" FSx Aircraft inc. They arranged for me to test the Carenado's (and any bird for that matter) before investing in them with actual ;p cash from my AH wallet. And yes please, Andrew...I'll take the answer to that next quextion...I am afraid I am NOT Instrument rated and need a moving map GPS at this time...but plan to challenge myself to learn ILS/IFR as part of this game.   6. Hello folks. First time poster here. I found AH a couple weeks ago and have slogged through the learning curve, i think, on easy mode to learn what might be possible then deleted the company after my 3rd "first heavy" a B377 stratoliner...sweet plane for AH btw. I'm working on two companies now, the medium is phasing out of the Caravans, and I loved the plane so much I wanted to get the carenado version for the hard version company, who is still using a small 4 plane fleet of freeware Piper PA28R-201's I found on simvation i think?
