  1. Yep...some people can be really stingy. Would think that they would a bit more generous these days, with a lot of businesses going under! I have a new PC now which is much better performance. I recently bought the Aerosoft CRJ, which is quite an in depth sim. I am enjoying....it is a plane I flew in a few times between Indy and Chicago. Happy memories.
  2. This is too good to miss!! VERY funny post from Kokomo In The Know Facebook. Since I have thought about it overnight I have decided to comply with the mask mandates. After all I want to be a great Patriot and American and definitely don’t want to be selfish. So if it saves lives I’ll do it. But I need guidance from the experts on here since I am obviously clueless. Please help. QUESTION(s): 1) After shopping at the local grocery store, do we leave the masks on once we leave or does the virus just stay in the stores? - If we leave it on, then for how long? - H

  9. OK...thanks for your input Arnold. I believe that the video card and memory can be updated easily if needs be (knowing how things move so fast on the computer and flight sim front, but I am hoping not to have to go there for a while). The links are good too!
  10. Flight attendants required. Must be willing to walk long distances......but the trolley is motorized!
  11. Okay...it's gone quiet now..... I will give this one to Alan for "Bye folks, you are now under command of a FlightSimmer called Joe in Southampton..Don't panic if the aircraft lurches, hes gone for a cuppa! " (After all, having a cuppa is a VERY important part of flying!!) Over to you Alan......
  12. So this is what real airline Captains do to pass the time when their plane is on autopilot!!
  13. Okay...I have decided to bite the bullet and use the stimulus check to buy a new pc. It will take a while to get here, but my old one is about 8-9 years old. The specs for the old one are : Processor: 2.6 Ghz quad core. Video Card: 8 GB (1228 Mhz) RAM: 8GB The new PC is: Processor: 4.1Ghz 6 core Video Card: 6GB (1500 Mhz) RAM: 8GB (2666Mhz). I am running P3Dv3....I am wondering what sort of increase in fps I can realistically expect. If I am using standard vehicles on P3Dv3 and mid range settings, I can get about 28fps. With some third

  16. I am seriously thinking of upgrading my PC. I have come across this... Dell G5 Gaming Desktop, Intel Core i7- 9700 It seems pretty good on specs. apart from it could do with a larger capacity SSD. Does anyone have any experience with it? I am looking to run P3Dv3 (and in due course, V4) as well as doing photo editing and video editing. Any comments and help would be appreciated. Thanks. 19. I am not sure about the licensing of this product. I previously downloaded this, but I think that it may have got corrupted. I deleted it, and have downloaded it again from the site, but now I keep getting error messages. Do I have to buy another license...?
