  1. Very nice Tap, glad you have it all sorted now. Nothing worse than buying something that is not working right. Get yourself an Alaska Livery and the freeware Glacier Bay and do Portland to Juneau....one of my favourites. Just watch out for odd atc on arrival. If you get the offset approach its fantastic. steve
  2. Looks good Joe. I'm sure you will have no problem filling the slots for this one. steve

No problem at all Tap....Took a little digging out as i have way to many repaints  Do a search on avsim under 2004 repaints for "Paulo Fernandes". Seven 737 repaints should pop up and one is the bird your looking for. If you use World of AI they have released a stunning Jet Blue pack. They fly from Portland along with many others but this pack looks great including the Embraers. I use mainly WOAI with some PAI to fill gaps. PAI do Horizon Air which will fill many gates at A terminal. Just in case you were interested. All the best. steve
  4. Thanks guys, appreciate your comments. Dai, the nile was most certainly there and used as a reference point for my approach into Khartoum. I actually enjoyed this low-tech flight more than i thought i would, especially when my LR tanks dried up and my engines started to cut out over the desert. She is a lovely freeware bird to fly and would recomend her to anyone. Some nice liveries too. Thanks again. steve
  5. Hey Tap. As you probably know i fly from KPDX alot and must say i've come across no blurries. In fact this has to be one of the sharpest sceneries i own. I don't have registered FSUIPC and run on full settings within FS9. My grpahics are 7900GTX set to 8xAA and 16xAS at 1280x1024, although sometimes i use 8xAS but makes no difference to the sharpness of textures that close. To say your unimpressed with the scenery is a little harsh as to me its clear you have an issue that others do not. I will have a poke about and see if i can find anyone with a similar problem. steve :Edit: After a f
  6. Looking good but for some reason when on a page with screenies its way off to the right but lots of open space on the left. steve
  7. Well ok, even this is sooner than i expected but my wifes watching a dancing program so i came back to the PC to finish up. I do appologise for the rushed nature of the shots. I had not wanted to hold up the ATWC any longer so felt i needed to get it done. The flight.... DAAT Tamamrasset to Khartoum HSSS. 1752nm is the route length and i decided to give it a go in a C-47 with Long Range Tanks. Lots of desert and completely clear weather so an early start to add a little variation to the shots. Enjoy :eyebrow:
  8. Hey guys. Sorry for the wait and sorry to have to ask you to wait just a wee bit longer. Flight is complete and just finishing up some shots, nothing too fancy though.....been busy :eyebrow: Christmas and all that. No need to respond just letting you know i have not forgotten. steve
  9. Happy birthday John and Merry Christmas to you all. Heres hoping its a good one :eyebrow: steve

Thanks for the kind words Tap, glad you liked them. The scenery is Glacier Bay and the only other addon that might of made a difference to the textures is Ground Environment. I pretty much fun FS9 on full everything including the mesh and thats it really. Hope that helps. steve
  11. Great flight great edits. Very enjoyable bud and be happy to give you a lift. You may all have to bear with me though as its a little busy for me this time of year. steve
  12. Looks very detailed although i think a little beyond my abilities as of yet. I would do nought but head scratching with all those knobs and buttons. Still nice though. steve

Hey guys, You guys have made me very happy by being unsure if its a screen or real life. It was you allardjd who challenged me to add a shot from real life and so i set about trying my best to make a shot look real. When you put a real shot next to mine its so obvious which is real i bottled out of doing it. This is mainly due to the limitations of my PC being only able to run in 1280x1024 my monitors max. All these shots then are FS9 which some are very obvious. The only thing real in these shots is the grass, the rest is the fantastic Portland KPDX. The continental 737 is PMDG with a very
  14. Nah not one of steves' shots, this shot is way beyond anything he can do :mrhappy: Fantastic shot!! Love the coloring you achieved and would of been very happy had it been one of mine Great stuff Panos! steve

Hey guys. I have been busy learning to fly the PIC 737 and Level D 767 as real as possible as far as my limited knowledge takes me. I found taking shots while trying to land/takeoff took away from the experience and as such i began to get fed up with FS. Since i have been concentrating inside the cockpit and not outside i have taken much fewer screens than i usually do and so much less on the forums from me but am enjoying the flights much more. As i also enjoy editing shots, i decided take one or two from ocasional flights to edit up and here they are. Just my usual really all taken at Portl
  16. A great post with some really nice shots. That was some crazy flight though, anyone get a wet lap ? Love some of them edits and glad i inspired you to grafiti airport buildings  Good job!! steve
  17. A job with no challenge......that would be Hell! But i'm happy because the fishing ship was quite an easy job and i'm home early  steve
  18. What is your current job ? I'm a scaffolder and have been for 14 years. We do all kinds of work but also do ships. Scaffolding a fishing vessel tommorow that has crash damage and an Indian vessel over Christmas. Nice and cold out there too. Chin-up, could be worse  steve
  19. Sorry to hear you missed it by such a close margin. 12 months is not so long, will pass in no time. steve

  23. Hey guys, just the 1 shot here. Airbuslad posted this one over on JF for another member to edit and i could not resist having a go..... Airbuslads shot.... ..and my edit. Most of the shot is origional with the ground, trees and runway all being seperate images brought together with a little splash of color. steve
  24. You will probably find Tap as i have, multiple reflections often get very tricky and more often than not take quite alot of working out especially when the reflection is not a mirror image but from an angle. I tend not to create 100% reflections as its only in full puddles will you get a full image, wet ground is much more vague and thus you can get away with more. Some of my best reults combine the more vague wet ground with a few puddles with a sharper reflection. I'ts been a while since i tried one so maybe i should have another go. Pratice makes perfect :mrhappy: steve
  25. Very nice Tap if a little on the dark side. No problem with the grass, happy to share a few blades amongst friends :mrhappy: One thing to note with your reflection in shot one, the ERJ is fine but the aircraft behind is reflecting as though its 6 foot off the ground. In order to do it correctly would mean a shot of the aircraft with no ERJ in the way. Shots taken from flights rarely take into account such detail so maybe reflecting the wheels then fading out towards the fuselage. I know its a bit picky but with your shots getting better all the time, small details can take a picture from g
