  1. Hey guys. Been ages since i took a glider up but thoroughly enjoyed it even if the tug pilot struggled to stay airborne with me eratically trying to keep steady while i trimed the glider. Landing was fun too! :doh Anyway was really just messing around with this and it started to take shape so i finished it up. Thanks for looking... steve
  2. Heh thanks  steve
  3. Thanks for the great response guys you really know how to spur a guy on. I've been working more on backgrounds and subtle aircraft reflections lately, these two together really seem to bring a shots alive. Of course getting all the elements right in one shot is the trick but by your response, i guess i got it right  steve
  4. Hey, Another edit from my flying around Australia. This time short haul commercial. Here is just the one shot as we taxi to the gate at Launceston. Was probably the bumpiest ride i have had due to strong winds with heavy gusts. At one point on final i was on runway heading, then a gust took me 30 degrees out of line. Thanks for looking... steve

    Piglets Tucano

Between this and Tims Mooney "mite" i'm doing alot of flying right now. Thanks for taking a look and glad you liked it. Flying this beast at treetop through valleys is a blast. Vacs its at Sim-Outhouse but cant get a link as the site seems to have a problem at the moment. When i go there its just constantly refreshing the main page. You could try though, might be my PC causing a problem. steve
  6. Hey. More excellent freeware from Tim Conrad. Thanks for looking... steve

  9. Very nice and looks good. Was not sure if aerosoft or gary would get my money on this one. Curious what vid editing software do you use ? steve

Anyhoo is looking like remove and start over. steve
  12. I have been quite busy lately and have little free time. I decided to do a really quick flight from Juneau to Sitka in the beaver and here is a shot en-route. Its a very simple edit but don't include it as an entry for the next location. Fantastic scenery and great flying around Sitka. Come on guys put that airliner down and do some proper flying  steve
  13. Thanks guys, looks like Carenado it is. Just need to make up my mind on which one now. steve
  14. Hey. Since flying more GA especially in Australia  I was thinking about getting my first FSX Payware GA craft. Looking around it seems many people like Carenados fleet. I'm getting a bit fed up now with people reviewing things as excellent only to turn out to be pretty naff. Anyway i was looking at their cessna 182 RG II Skylane and was wondering if you guys had any experience with it. Thanks... steve
  15. A nice capture. Good job getting it into a silouette. Maybe the background could use a few washes of yellow to soften it up but otherwise nicely done. steve

    Grovedale.

Thanks chaps. Flying Australia is proving a great experience. Had my first, curved strip and also one i had to side slip into to avoid trees which took 3 attempts ending with my cessna in a bush :mrhappy: All good fun though. Cheers... steve

    Grovedale.

Hey guys. While enjoying some VFR flights around Southern Australia i took a few snaps. I was really just messing around with this one but decided to finish it and post it. If you still have not tried FTX Tasmania Demo.....Why Not ?!? Lucious terrain with over 20 freeware GA airfields by OzX and some of the craziest airfield approaches ive ever had. Tommorow i'll fly from Grovedale (my edit) to my first airstrip described as .....curved ??? Time will tell Anyway, the edit... And before i messed it up Thanks for looking... steve P.S. All FTX scenery goes up on Dec 30th
  19. Both nice shots wayne. Be careful though when blurring the background as you have blured the antenna cables. These being attached to the aircraft should not be blurred. Nice to see you trying different things out. steve
  20. No rush, takes me a while to sort the next part anyway steve

  23. No problem at all Wayne. If i can find the time to do it i'm happy to help anyone out. Your shot is looking good so far and to be honest, you can hardley tell the difference between our shots. Looking forward to finishing this one now and moving on. If i get time after this is done i hope to do a ground tutorial as well showing a collection of ideas on getting results out of scenery up close. Don't forget to ask if you need to know anything or want to know something i'm not covering so far. I hope i'm not boring you too much   steve
  24. Well i wish you all the best with your results. steve
