Interesting. I've had a few AH flights into Poland, and I was just wondering whether there was anyhthing in the way of scenery for the area. I shall check them out when I get home tomorrow. If you want a review rit, just holler...

Thanks for the heads up. There have been 'in production' videos of this going around for some time, but now it's open it's definitely on my "must go to" list (and the new pics and video are pretty cool too!) Shame there doesn't seem to be any GA... Anyone fancy a couple of days in Hamburg? We could have a Mutleys meet-Up... :biggrin:

I hope that wasn't a 2000lb bull, or you would have had a very short-lived business!

What? Eh? Mine's a pint. Old Hookey if they have it.

Thanks to Mutleys and Rob Cappers at UIVER, I find myself in the left seat of this wiiide bodied DC2 :wootmesalia: (it's got to be wide - I can stretch my arms out both sides and not touch anything! Just a quick trip round the circuit in this one, but I'll soon be giving it a decent workout and exploring the flight envelope. I'd better get home from Japan asap - I feen another excursion coming on!

In my book, if you can close the pilot-side door without the passenger being popped out of his door (or without outside help), and two of you in the plane doesn't count as "second base" at the slightest movement, then it's a wide body...

Close. It's .pln .flt is a saved situation file. BTW, the FS9 plans will work fine in FSX, but the FSX plans presented on page 1 look to be broken - there should be a whole load of xml formatting that appears to be stripped out. Unfortunately that formatting is essential. Here's an example of how an FSX plan should look: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <SimBase.Document Type="AceXML" version="1,0"> <Descr>AceXML Document</Descr> <FlightPlan.FlightPlan> <Title>KPSP to KCRQ</Tit

Leg 7: UHPP Petropavlosk-Kamchatsky/Yelizovo to RJCC Sapporo/New Chitose Route: UB BUMEN LATAK BISIV MVE Distance: 920nm (total distance: 3992nm) Flight time: 5.3 hours (total time: 22.8 hours) Fuel: 204 usg (total fuel: 999 usg) These pictures have been sitting on my hard drive for the last six weeks, so it's about time I posted them! I flew this at FL200, following the airways system, but there's no reason you couldn't fly lower, island hopping. There's no real benefit to doing that, other than having something to look at, since the islands are nothing more than rocky volcanic peaks;

Interesting to see St Athan's hangars doubling as Area 51 on tonight's Dr Who - explains the MOD Police presence when I landed there! :dance2:

Thanks to Mutley, Andrew, Dai and the team for putting this event together. I had a smashing time, and look forward with excitement to the next one. :icon_thumbup:

Those masks were very popular, judging by the number I've seen about (heck, even those people on the TV were wearing them...) When Wills & Kate drove off in the Aston, I just couldn't help thinking "ejector seat...." :th_smiles73:

Yes, in a lot of ways the 20 is a 2-seat cut down version of the DA40. The handling is very similar. Both have high aspect ratio wings that make them reminiscent of gliders; Both are very responsive, but also very slippery. You can chuck them about the sky with aplomb. both have fixed seats, and rudder pedals that you adjust by means of a handle between your feet (it's a b*tch to adjust!). Otherwide the 40 has a more powerful engine & more sophisticated engine management, & a bit more comfort (leather seats!). The DA20 is certified for limited aeros in the US, but not in Europe. The 20

Kindle is an e-reader, not a netbook. It does one thing, well. -
FSX Gold at Amazon UK

It's the same price. With Tescos you get to take it home with you. With Amazon, it comes presetup and configured to your account. With Tescos you get clubcard points. With Amazon you get nectar points. You takes your choice, really. I've had mine since the New Year, and it's brilliant. Don't forget you can also get the free Kindle app for Mac/PC/iOS/Android, and whatever you are reading will stay in sync across all your platforms. -
