As MyTraffic 2010 is just a simpler version of MyTraffic X, I suppose I could eliminate it. But after doing more research, I think I'm leaning towards MyTraffic X. It has a very big variety of aircraft and liveries, seems to be quite good on performance, and is constantly updated (good to know Burkhard Renk is always improving it!). Anyone have suggestions?

So, after using the default FSX traffic for a while now, I think it's about time to upgrade to a proper traffic program. I've considered both freeware and payware, but the freeware programs/packages are often fairly limited and incomplete, and it would be a pain to download and install all the packages for a certain program (since I want traffic for the whole world). So, for payware, the main programs seem to be: Just Flight Traffic X Flight 1 Ultimate Traffic 2 Aerosoft MyTraffic 2010 MyTraffic X Pro My main concerns are probably performance and aesthetics, but I also want to have a goo

Hilarious! They have screenshots from (I think) 3 different simulators - FSX, X-Plane, and one looks like Falcon BMS!

What works for me is to cut the throttle at about 30 feet, and start lightly flaring at about 15-20 feet. I'm not sure if that's proper procedure, but it sure produces some very smooth and accurate landings! The PMDG NGX is the first aircraft that has actually felt realistic to me when flying, especially on landing. Because of this, I actually find it to be one of the easiest aircraft to land. But still, I find the best way to do it is by feel. And practice a lot!

Here are my three: 1. Over a very nice high-altitude cloud layer. 2. Coming through the beautiful clouds somewhere over the Pacific Northwest. 3. Completely lost and disorientated in a crazy winter storm near Newfoundland. Good luck to all!

What you must remember about FTX is that it's not designed to be a completely accurate photoreal rendition of the area. You won't be able to see your house or anything like that. However, there is custom landclass, autogen, mesh, and scenery objects throughout the whole area, as well as a few photoreal places like Seattle, KPAE, and Mt. St. Helens (yes, they are there - you just don't notice it because it is so well blended with the rest of the scenery and 3D objects, unlike other photoreal sceneries). All I can say is I love this! I'm a fan of their ultra-detailed airports, especially ones like this. Plus, the location is great. We need more Canadian airports (sorry guys, but I've had enough of the Australian and American ones). Now why don't I have PFJ? (side thought: So this is where their funny banner was from!)

All I can say is EPIC! 2, 4, 7, and 8 are my favourites.
