Brian. You're installing an out of date version of p3d. The latest version is 3.2.3. You're trying to run 3.1.2 but using the latest fsuipc which is looking for the newest version of p3d. Download the latest client updates from your account at prepar3d.com

Looks good Wayne. I. May pick that one up myself.

It's a great job and I'm absolutely loving the 'recent topics' and 'topics I've participated in' sections. I can finally keep up to date easily.

I'll be reviewing simstarter NG, so if you can wait, I should have some answers. Jess B

This is it. My final leg before we indulge in the last minute rush that is leg 70. What a trip it's been. From the the old to the new, the large to the small, it's been a struggle to find time to enjoy life's little pleasures. So for this small leg, I decided it was time to slow down, take a moment and enjoy a little sight seeing. Well for about two seconds. I'm my case, slowing down was relative. I did toy with flying the Mitchell wing. But with a fuel tank smaller than a babies bladder, that proved impractical. Plus there's slow and there Mitchell wing slow (top speed is just 55kts). Instead

A2A Simulations - Accu-sim T-6 release FSX and P3D

I'm caught In two minds with this one. On the one hAnd it brings back memories of flying chipmunks, and the T-6 reminds me of a kickass chipmunk. On the other hand, military aircraft aren't always my thing. Hmmmmm, still, I'm tempted. -
Lol, You got me trouble again. I had to explain to Lynda yesterday why I've started calling idiot drivers 'foots',

Looking forward to this years rally. I was rather Ill last year, so I missed it. Now I just need to get the first two legs flown early. Visiting a friend on the first submission date.

I'm not sure the HD mesh and photo scenery works with xpx.
-
I wouldn't recommend it Wayne. It's missing several features that will be introduced eventually, but at a cost to current users. There are things you can take from learning the A320 series, but the interface for the A350 is much different.

Hi Wayne, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Yes I'd recommend the RC sim scenery. I use it and it's a great option. As for moving things up and down the scenery.ini, well that's just copy and paste. As a shortcut, you can just delete the file and restart the sim, it'll sort itself out usually. Finally, starting on the ramp is done via global airport selector. Not all airports have a ramp option, but most do. Iirc you'll find the 'ramp start' options on the right of the menu dialogue.

Hi Wayne. Ok, let's take a look. You're correct, the U.K. Scenery is just one season, but the whole of X plane is one season, so it doesn't matter. Adding the GB pro scenery to the mix will add a tonne of buildings and more importantly, the nightlighting. Just make sure the go pro scenery is above the photo scenery in the scenery.ini file. The v3 UHD mesh is fantastic, and free, but you'll need a lot of memory to enjoy it. There isn't an 'orbx' level scenery out there for sale I'm afraid. However, checkout the other sceneries from the world2xp site. The current Denmark and Norway scenery

Santos Dumont airport SBRJ for X-Plane 10 released.
Jess-b posted a topic in News and Press Releases
Santos Dumont Airport (SBRJ) is a central airport located close to the financial center of Rio de Janeiro operating domestic flights. Built in the 30s on top of a embankment at Guanabara Bay, Santos Dumont airport was the first civil airport opened in Brazil. It is currently the second busiest airport in the state of Rio de Janeiro after the Galeao International Airport and is also one of the busiest in Brazil, occupying the seventh place. The airport is installed in an area of 833,000 square meters, with two runways for takeoffs and landings with a capacity of 29 operations per hour, and tw -
I believe (and I may be wrong here) that it's a rather ornate version of the Greek letter A or alpha. It's often used to designate the Angle of Attack for the aircraft. If I'm honest though, it's a bit to ornate to be a real A.

NOTAM NOTAM - The Mutley's Easter Bunny Air Rally 2016 is announced!

What Mickie said! -
Wayne, it's a continual 'WIP'. With new parts coming in to replace older parts. For now, there's a big conflict with getting the sim built verses moving home in six months. So any work I do now has to be thought out with a view to packing it safely when the time comes. At the minute, I have a flyable sim, with 90% of the main structure in place. But it'll need a complete rebuild once I move. I expect at least another two years work till its sitting like the real thing. In the meantime, my little quest to find out what that damn gauge was has paid off, and a real AoA gauge is on its way curte

Got it. It's an AoA gauge apparently. Very unusual to see it too. Here's a pic. <img src="http://fs-snaps.com/images/2016/01/28/image.gif" alt="image.gif" border="0">
