  1. Evening guys, Decided to do another flight today to test the PMDG 777 along with UK2000s version of EGLL, and Fly Tampa OMDB. I had to change my settings ever so slightly to get acceptable fps around LHR which was a shame, but OMDB was excellent - I only wished I'd clicked transparent windows now! Oh well, onto the shots, just a few of them today as the majority of the flight was during night hours! Apologies again, this time I saved them in BMP but still the quality decreases, and for some reason it looks like it's taken my Anti-Aliasing out when I've hit the screenshot button! Th
  2. Hi guys, After still struggling to get used to XP11, and as well as there not being a traffic program I deem acceptable, it was time to upgrade to P3Dv4. After spending the last 3 days tweaking and working out my best configs for graphic/performance combo, I was finally able to undertake my first flight. Unfortunately, I didn't realise the quality loss by saving my files as PNG on standard P3D screenshot, but I have managed to salvage a few. Back to JPEG from now on! Hope you enjoy.. More DC6....

So here are a few more shots. I am really loving this one, the IXEG737 is on the backburner at the moment. Having the AFE is a great help in learning this one, gradually easing myself into it. Printed off the 54 page manual and the 2 tutorials, the other one is a 333 page PDF POH. Detail on this is amazing, its my first PMDG so I guess this is what you are used to if you already have one. Been learning the takeoff, rotate, climb, level flight, trimming, AP and linking to GPS.... nearly ready now to tackle the tutorials. It is very important to read the small
  4. External Model - The external model has been accurately modelled using high resolution 3-view drawings of the actual airplane, and painted in exquisite detail with high resolution photo real textures. Stunning, high definition photo real textures in the VC truly brings this cockpit to life, a
  5. Nearly ready for sale on the PMDG site. PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies IIOnly $228,000,000 (http://www.precisionmanuals.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=107&idcategory=13) This means that it is almost ready for release. I think I will wait a bit until the price drops.

  8. Hi everybody I would need some help regarding my latest payware aircraft.....PMDG's 737 NGX. It's a wonderful aircraft, I definitely love it, but the fact is that it crashes in some occasions... If i take a look at the map and then get back to FSX, i get a whole black screen and the hateful Microsoft's fatal error.... or, if I apply differential thrust, for example for lining up on the runway, it does the same, but by freezing the actual screen, instead of showing the black screen. Now, as I have paid 70 bucks, I'd love to solve this pretty annoying issue.... Any ideas? I'm
  9. Hey guys, Recently I've been having a lot of trouble with my FSX. I had it running fine for about 2 years without a single error, then PMDG released their 777 then that's when all the issues started. To put it simply, I can't fly any long haul flights due to the fact that I get the dreaded 'Your computer has run out of memory' error when around FL060. I must emphasize that even when I'm monitoring the VAS usage when descending and I notice it's getting to the 3.7/8 mark, Lowing settings literally does nothing at all. I have done a few tweaks that have allowed me to just about complete fli

  13. I mentioned elsewhere (Kaspers latest ATWC post) that I had been having a bit of fun with the PMDG 737 NGX lately. What I didn't mention there is that it has been giving me fits with FSX. I'm going to lay the blame solidly on PMDG's doorstep because nothing else, none of the other planes in my hangar (that I've flown lately) experience the same problems. Problem #1: Many "not responding" error messages. Fortunately, always on startup. Sometimes takes two or three attempts to get the 737 stable enough to start a flight process. Never crashed during a flight. All of the PMDG suggestions for p
  14. Of interest to those flying PMDG and iFly 737's who own iPads: Quick note re: Virtual CDU - a new version has been released (April 18th) for use on the iPad. Unfortunately, I can't comment on it because it will only work if your iPad is running ios6. Mine won't be running ios6 until I get back to Canada.
