  4. After getting good advice from this forum, I bought the Prepar3d Pro. I am very glad at this point to have it. I ran a test using Windows 8.1 with all the updates of a four and one half hour flight with a Beech King air with just about all the slidders at max. and and an altuide of 4000 feet geting 35 to 45 FPS from Dodge City, Kansas to Springfield MO. to Rockford, ILL. with out any problems. Had 2% fuel on board when I landed. Went from Daylight to dark during the flight. Very happy about the product. I also had Orbxs Globel 110 and Vector v1.1 plus the updates plus Multi Crew Experience i

  7. I am new here but I thought that I might share what I do for fun. I am the flight lead of a 6 ship demonstration team we emulate the USAF Thunderbirds Flight Demonstration Squadron. Well here is a few pictures, to show what we do. Formation is our thing. One difference is that we fly in Prepar3d which is like FSX's younger brother with more stable Multiplayer. (Sorry about the watermarks, they get branded onto all of our images if they go on our website.) 9. Hi all! Here's the latest creation from Rob Richardson, the Airspeed Ambassador - http://www.robertjamesrichardson.co.uk/index.html I think it uses default sounds, but the correct engine sounds are in the BritSim library Kieran
  10. We have just finished a build for ADE that is designed to run properly against Prepar3D. This means that if you have P3D then it will appear as an option in the Version Selector. Each FS version in ADE is setup in a separate compartment. So the P3D version (ADEP) should not cross over at all with FSX. It has it's own databases (from P3D) and uses the P3D SDK for the compilers. It should connect to P3D etc etc. More IMPORTANT detail here

  13. How much would you be prepar3d (Excuse the pun) to pay for an extensible flight simulation program? We know the MS Flight Simultor francise is long-dead. With the closure of Aces Studios and the imminent release of FLIGHT, this has confirmed our susupicions that they have left proper flight simulation high and dry. So if you want to stick with FSX, but want a much slicker, higher performing product that is due for a major version update later this year, you would have to look at taking on a commercial product with commercial pricing. If Lockheed Martin could offer their product with an enth
  14. Prepar3D might be a new name to many flightsimmers. It’s a special version of FSX developed by Lockheed Martin and intended for professional customers but is available for everybody. This special version is updated regular, has some more functions, is a bit faster, has a far better interface is almost totally compatible with FSX. To buy a full license will cost you $495 but a monthly license is just $9.95. We like it and we are making many of our products compatible. If you own the FSX version of these products you can get the Prepar3D version for free (and vice versa). We just added Egelsbach
  15. From Aerosoft: We just uploaded a full new build and an 1.00 to 1.10 update of Corfu X. This new build solves the performance issue seen on some systems and solves a few tiny bugs. So far nothing special but we also added an installer that will install Corfu X into Lockheed Martin’s Prepar3D version of our trusty old simulator. If you buy (or own) Corfu X you get this version without additional cost. This Prepar3D add-on is made to see if customers like it and if we run into unexpected problems. We do not support this simulator the way we normally do. Installing it works exactly the same as
