So after seeing this today... Of course I had to try for myself! Fired up Ortho4XP, go the DEMs, created the four tiles and I was off!! Managed to do 1 circuit then crashed. Managed another 3 and then Over G'd the plane. LOL Good times! Thought I had recorded it to share and then watched the reply and it was trying to capture all three screens as once every third frame so it was unwatchable. Anyone else have fun in the Loop?? What's your fav plane to fly it with? I think I'll get another bunch of ortho's as the ones from Bing wer

So before I knew about this section of the forum and how other people are chronicalling there adventures, I started the first part of this thread here: [unofficial] GAAR 2016 Leg 01 However now I (think) I understand how this works, I'm going to chronicle my adventures in a single thread per area. This one for the 2016 GAAR another for the NZAR 2016 etc. Anyway, go read the first part if you haven't already and I'll get on with the next part of the journey. -
After (unofficially) completing the MEBAR I've decided to use another Air Rally as a chance to learn more about our hobby and a new airframe. Now in this particular instance my choice of plane is completely against the theme and I'm sure the intent of the GAAR originally organised by Bluegrass Airlines and I believe our very own @Andrew Godden (please forgive me but I haven't gotten my old birds in the hanger yet and I really wanted something to learn the systems on this baby.), who I will just have to beg his forgiveness and indulgence, however I have decided to use the C-17 Globemaster III b

hi guys, just wondered if anyone here had the opportunity yet to play with the Area51 Simulations C-17 Globemaster...i've done a little digging but so far not turned up many reviews. the screenshots and videos obviously make it look outstanding, but then if they didn't, nobody would buy it....so do any of you have 1st hand experience with it and can let me know a little more about its flight characteristics & interior/exterior model & sounds quality - i.e. are they any good!? thanks in advance, simi
