  2. According to the MS Flight, the C46 was a basic aircraft that had been ‘finished' but was still in the release process. MS loki says: "I don't want to bog people down with details, but let's just say releasing content is a little more involved than flipping a switch. As we were unsure about completed features, certification and a bunch of other aspects of said plane we simply did not know if it was something that would ever see the light of day. It was frustrating seeing something in a form of stasis, so we worked on figuring out what hurdles we needed to overcome in order to get t

  10. So much for NDA's some people just don't care. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVgUuDY1UjM&hd=1
  11. The announcement really did not go down well. https://www.facebook.com/msflight The general feeling is that pilots do not want to be restricted to Hawaii, be a gamer, or limited to Microsoft's rules. No SDK (yet?) could mean lack of third party, independent add-ons that we have relied on to take FS9 and FSX to another level, where's my sword?! So I can only see this being a XBox type game, even if it can be accessed from your PC. A sad day for genuine aviation enthusiasts both virtual and real-world.

  18. As game designers, we are tasked with creating a fun flying game that will appeal to a wide variety of players. In this article, we look at that problem and some of the mechanics we are employing to reach our goals. Ultimately, you will be the judge of how successful we have been, and you can, in turn, influence where we take the game in the future. Most games are very direct in establishing what the player is expected to do in order to succeed. Whether these are tasks, activities, challenges, missions, or whatever, the player is drawn through the game in a carefully designed sequence. This s
