On Location with the Yellow Legend!

The Location being various areas of the USA where the movie The Lone Ranger was filmed and the legend being the Spitfire TVIII G-AIDN. Currently residing back in the UK this aircraft was owned in the USA from 1986 until 2007. Over there she actually carried the reg N58JE but has since been re registered to her UK identity.(1944 Supermarine 502 Spitfire TR.8 (LF.VIIIc) C/N 6S/729058 for those who are interested)

thanks for viewing, Anyone interested in visiting the locations mentioned, they are;

Creede, Durango and Alamosa in Colorado

Monument Valley on the Arizona-Utah Border

Moab in Utah

Canyon de Chelley and Chinle in Arizona

Abiquiui and Shiprock in New Mexico

I managed to find most of them in the default scenery library.

The model is by Aeroplane Heaven.

Thanks Steve, Yes there are more than one two seater, we've got one at Goodwood just down the road from us! There are about 5 altogether, mostly built for the Irish Air Corps. 3 are currently flying in the UK and this one in the post is under restoration. The last one is believed to be in the USA.
