jaydor 345
Good report Dai, I was surprised the engine covers are not animated as it would not have cost ND anymore to include. James
ddavid 149
Thanks - I'm not 100% sure, James, but I couldn't find any more animations other than doors, gear and rotors... Cheers - Dai.
Andrew Godden 943
Dai, Mate, a great and informative review and another of your thorough and detailed analyses. ND, for what I understand is a small production team, continue to produce quality external and internal modelling. Cheers Andrew
Kasper 14
Very informative review Dai. One of the most in depth helo reviews I've come accross.
brett 2,314
Thanks for an honest, well written and informative review Dai. A real shame they didn't work on the flight dynamics a bit more, in a sim I think it is more important than the visuals of the exterior. (You would think the Hind would be a little gun shy to fly around Afghanistan ) Bad joke I left in anyway
ddavid 149
Thanks for your kind comments - I enjoyed doing doing this review, especially as the Hind's an aircraft I've wondered about since seeing one in Weston's helicopter museum. A beast if ever there was one. The ND developer has done a really excellent job - O.K. a bit of eye candy ain't bad - and flying like the EH-101 can't be far off the mark. However, the multitude of switches on the VC which, apparently, have some effect on the aircraft's operation makes you question why more effort wasn't made into getting the flight dynamics a little more specific to the Hind itself. There, I've probably said too much - again!?! Cheers - Dai.
