UKJim 502
Well, why not go over to this site and pick some bad weather to fly in Find out the location and set it up in the sim... http://www.badbadweather.com/ I have used this to grab the METAR data and inject it into the sim using Opus using the 'GLOB' location - this makes it global so you can put your plane anywhere in the world and manually set the weather. Did you know it was minus 37 degrees C in the East Midlands yesterday evening Hope this is of use for some people hehe Jim
mutley 4,487
Thanks Jim, I'll take a look. I loaded the METAR for last Monday morning on FSGW and it was giving the wind at 46mph interesting take off and landing, good job it's only a sim!

Been looking for such a service for ages - I remember even asking @ Avsim about historical METAR/TAF reports based on wx conditions... Anyway, thank you very much!!!
UKJim 502
Hey Jim, It's an AWESOME find, thanks a lot!!! Been looking for such a service for ages - I remember even asking @ Avsim about historical METAR/TAF reports based on wx conditions... Anyway, thank you very much!!! This is not historic I don't believe - I think it is just the given weather from around the world and where it is bad
