UKJim 502
Thanks guys - yeah it's a great plane to fly. Shame the weather wasn't very good but it did allow to see performance and wing flex too. I found another fsx gem too - never had it before - when moving the mouse in the VC I get a drop in fps. Apparently this is good old fsx and not much can be done about it. Ah well still ok tho. I let it autoland and took a quick video from the external view. Hopefully upload this tomorrow if I get 2mins (or 1hr damn youtube) Got Uk2000 Cardiff and Stansted the other day - managed to wangle this beaut due to the wife wanting perfume lol Said she can get perfume if I can get the plane - GOOD TIMES! Next thing I'm looking at is immersion for this baby - then for the 737ngx when it gets released too. Expect a lot of screens from this in near future

UKJim 502
Tis the season for new toys...falalalala, lalalala. And that's a very very nice one. Frankly, all your Tube-shots recently have made me want one that I want to fly... Tis the season for new toys...falalalala, lalalala. Cheers - this one is great but if I was to recommend a tube it would be the 737ngx with the 600/700 expansion - for me its just a little more involved than the 777.

Bruce (a.k.a. brian747) 142
Lovely aircraft, Jim, and some great initial shots of it — although I'm looking forward to seeing more. (The 300ER expansion is cool too, although poor old FSX can sometimes have a tough time rendering the additional three cameras when taxying...). Have fun! Cheers, bruce a.k.a. brian747
UKJim 502
Cheers guys - yeah will be posting more - I really want to see the cockpit of a night but couldn't find where the bloody buttons where to turn the VC lighting on haha. Case of RTFM! This is a beast and really takes the resources out the system - but well worth it in my opinion. My old machine would have burnt up there and then with this one Matt (CaptainCoffee) - I like the look of that plane in your topic too - very nice mate.
UKJim 502
Just another one for fun - I'm calling this 'Fogged In' - the video I mentioned from above has been published and found below - please feel free to view on Youtube for better quality Thanks for viewing! And another that shows Precipitfx Immersion for the 777 ...
brett 2,314
You can land it smoother than that autoland. Nice foggy pic Jim, did you fly in it?
Captain Coffee 2,030
Very cool. The wing flex dropping down right after landing is amazing looking... Thanks for sharing that.
UKJim 502
You can land it smoother than that autoland. Nice foggy pic Jim, did you fly in it? I didn't - I was trying to see what the PMDG lights look like in rubbish weather so forced some weather into the sim. Saw a photo op though so took it Very cool. The wing flex dropping down right after landing is amazing looking... Thanks for sharing that. No problem - I agree; when I set that camera up on the ground the wing as level with the cam - then when I was flying and thought I'd take a roam around, it was high. PMDG are great at that kind of detail. The only downfall for a detailed plane like this is the performance hit - I mean my machine is not exactly poor and it still gets around 20fps in the VC Thanks for the comments guys - expect more of this plane as I just spent about £80 on it hehe!
