J G 927
Twice I have built up my P3D setup only to get to a point where it won't start without crashing. Rather annoying as I was building a new set up from, and including, Windows 7. Its is a long and rather dull process at the best of times, but just getting back to where you where is very disheartening. In desperation I looked around for anything untoward in my file system and I came across something that didn't look right. Various of the addons I have installed as part of my rig install simmconect as part of their standard install. I had three versions installed. I uninstalled the oldest versions leaving the latest version only. I restarted mt PC and P3D was back to its stable self. So if you have stability issues with P3D then check your Simmconnect version(s) and slim them down to the latest one if needs be.
brett 2,283
Thanks for the info JG. I added more tags to help others with a search in case they run into the same situation.
