Tobus[NL] 28
Hi all, a quick heads up:as I've flown flight #2 already, I found out that SCCC runway is located some 30ft above ground level in my FSX:SE installation. I only have orbx global + vector installed which could explain this, but also run the vector tool regularly, so I can not explain it. Anyways, if you also have this installed, maybe it's wise to check beforehand. It would be a shame to have to muck up or abort a flight of 2+ hours because of this. I could land ok but chose not to taxi from the levitating runway ;-) Edited April 11, 2017 by Tobus[NL] extra clarification on fsx version.
Andrew Godden 934
This problem is a mesh scenery issue. It is caused by not having a quality mesh scenery and only using Orbx's FTX Global VECTOR on FSX:SE, as FTX Global VECTOR corrects all the elevation errors in the default airports in FSX:SE. The correct use of the AEC tool (in FTX Central) by adding SCCC specifically to the exclude list should correct the problem.
Tobus[NL] 28
I think I did Andrew, via the auto scan feature. I'll check again to make sure though. Thanks.
Tobus[NL] 28
SCCC problem solved, indeed the AEC tool did not pick up on SCCC with the auto scan feature. resolved now, off to flight #3!
