dodgy-alan 1,587
Curtiss JN-4 Jenny doing her stuff at Old Warden. The Jenny as she became known was first introduced in 1915 and well over 6'000 were built. Many going into civilian hands after WW1. A large number ended up on the airshow circuit giving joyrides to passengers willing to pay for the thrill. Others became the backbone of the US Mail service for many years. There are numerous survivors today and several are still airworthy. The Jenny is arguably one of the most important aircraft in aviation history due to the impact she had on Post WW1 aviation. Thanks for viewing.
rosariomanzo 545
Nice shots. Biplanes are a lot of fun to fly. Some years ago with some friends we have flown the route from Rome to Tokyo with the SVA. It took almost one year to perform all legs.
dodgy-alan 1,587
Biplanes are indeed fun, best flown with a desk fan blowing into your face for that authentic "wind in the hair" experience! LOL
