wisemanp 0
Some shots of my recent trip to Iceland. Hope you enjoy. Our aircraft, Icelandair's B757-300 'Hengill', I believe named after a volcano in Iceland. Cyprus A330 on the stand next to us. Looking back over Heathrow having departed from 27L on a WOBUN(?) SID. Notice how dark it is... Approaching Iceland...it's 3 hours since we took off, but lighter! The furthest left island I believe is Surtsey which famously appearred in the 1960s Having arrived on Keflav

Helaro 0
I see plenty of girls in the pictures, a couple of tons with cold metal. But still, lovely ladies of the skies And you're right about the sign, something like "First flight/airplane at Iceland". Great photos, looked like a great trip.

rob16584 42
Excellent pics Phil. I read story about Icelandair once; A guy was making a flight with them and realised that there was only 1 aircraft in their fleet he had not flown on, so he sent them a letter with the various details etc... He then got one back from them saying that they had scheduled the aircraft he had not flown on to be the aircraft he flew on on his next flight. I think they also upgraded him too! dgor 0
Beautiful pics Phil, Iceland looks like such an interesting place to visit! It's a real illustration of the amazing power of nature. I'm sure that Cyprus Airways A330 sees some temperature difference on that route!
