And a Big Cheer to Tim, who made 28th with a score of 99.16 - Gold Award - Excellent Stuff Tim!! :clapping:

When the dust has settled, Rob and I will let you all know about our own up-coming Air Rally. It'll be a bit shorter and based in the U.K., so keep your eye peeled. :whis:

Cheers - Dai.

I couldn't help noticing that first and second places went to the same person... (obviously someone with too much time on their hands - it was hard enough getting one plane all the way round let alone two or more! And to think the old rallies had 40+ legs and went well into a second month...) Anyway, well done chaps: It was fun! :icon_thumbup:

Now, UK rally. Were you aware of the RW "Around Britain Air Rally" that took place in, I think, 2004? The web site for it is long gone, but there are still traces of it around the web...

It was fun; I just wish I knew how to make my time/score better.

Practice, mainly, and being aware of the wind. That's where flying the whole rally has an advantage. My first few scores were comparatively poor, but they got better as the rally progressed.
