UKJim 502
I have tried all the tips on the web and I still get them wen flying jets! I hav win xp 32bit - will changing to win 7 64bit solve this completely? I read it somewhere that it doesn't occur on win 7 64bit! I hav 4 gb RAM and changed the page file to be 3 gigs too! Doesn't happen with small propeller powerfed aircraft! Cheers Jim
rob16584 42
Using W7 will help the problem, but the 'OOM' errors only usually occur when you are running the graphics settings too high. The first things I would dial back are the auto-gen and AI settings as these use a lot of system resources
Tim_A 995
Agreed - turn down some settings.
UKJim 502
I have turned down autogen to see if this helps - took the 747 out and managed to fly a fair distance (before crashing on approach DAMN A/P!!) No crashing of the game though so hopefully this is how I am meant to have it from now on. I have also switched from using the REX 2 engine to Active Sky Evo engine with REX tectures
