fssimguy 0
Hello, I have been having this problem since I got my new computer, when I use REX, REXv2.0, or REXv2.0 Overdrive, the clouds don't show up. Real Environment Xtreme worked fine on my old computer, but now, it isn't. I have asked for help everywhere, so now, I was wondering if you guys could help? Sincerely, fssimguy
ddavid 149
Hi FSimGuy On the off chance it's an O.S. change problem, were you using Windows 7 on your old rig? Apart from that, Welcome to Mutley's - I'm sure one of the REX gurus will help. Cheers - Dai.
fssimguy 0
Yes, except I used Windows 7 32-Bit, not 64-Bit.
needles 1,010
Hi and again welcome to Mutley's Hangar. Could you post some pictures so we can see what is happening on screen with you? Cheers Needles
mutley 4,487
Have you set up the path to the sim correctly in REX2 config?
UKJim 502
Yeah make sure you have all the paths in the options section set correctly and then also save both options and configuration screens. Does this also occur when running the REX 2.0 weather engine? If so; do you get the green text bar informing you the weather is being loaded into the game etc? Don't foget, it may be a stupid question but make sure you have installed the theme too (click install on the themes page) - I am sure you would have done this though
fssimguy 0
I have set it up to the correct path, when the theme is done installing, it says, "The textures have been loaded into flight simulator, they are now ready to use". I will post pictures later.
UKJim 502
That's cool are u using the Rex 2 weather engine? Do u get the green bar? Also in the options and configuration pages make sure clouds are ticked to be installed too!
rob16584 42
When i reintstalled REX 2.0 the default folder it selected for FSX was the wrong one. Uninstall it and reinstall and manually point it to the FSX folder and you should be OK.

Hey mate, I believe you can change this without re-installing by going into the configuration/options pages
