I've seen the real one, the only one of the two prototypes that actually flew.  It's on display in Lakeland FL, home of the Sun 'n Fun airshow.

He says it's listed as privately registered.  Quite possibly a former RAF pilot, or a wannabe one.

 

It looks a lot like a Grumman AA5 Tiger but the nose gear is not quite right and the windshield center post doesn't quite match.
