Using FS Recorder.

I have installed FS Recorder v2.1 and watched a tutorial for it on Youtube and there is a point in the process where you select "Render Video" from the FS Recorder drop down menu when in FSX.

 

For some reason I cannot see this option in the drop down menu so what could be wrong??

I think you need the alpha version, Phil. Have another look at the FSRecorder site. Here's a link:

On average how long does it take to render a video? I recorded about a 5 minute flight then stopped the recording and clicked on Render Video etc.. and when I looked 20 mins later it was still rendering.

 

Is this normal?

Sounds normal to me... Depending on render quality, could take an hour for 5 minutes worth.
