Nicely caught, I too love the older aircraft, those old Lockheeds were tough birds. Think I'd have taken a model 14 though for the extra capacity. (the 14 later became better known as the Hudson!)

Nice pic's :thum:  I admire your flying spirit, I would have taken a Lear. :D

 

I love those old 30s twin props, they have so much character don't you think?

 

Yes and I :bowdown: down to all who have taken one around the world. :D

This one is the L-10E model with extended range tanks and uprated engines as flown by Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan on their ill-fated round the world attempt. It came with the addon Around the World in 80 Flights along with 2 'C' models in different liveries.
