  1. CHATHAM, KENT – 18th November 2015 Dovetail Games, the multi award-winning simulation developer and publisher today announced the launch of Skychaser, a brand new aerobatic expansion pack for Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition. The Skychaser expansion pack will include an exclusive Extra 330SC stunt aircraft created by established flight simulation developer IRIS Flight Simulation Software, accurately modelled down to the finest details including a fully functional cockpit with authentic audio captured from a real-life engine. The aircraft, which is fast and agile and has dominated four real-life World Aerobatic Championships will also feature six exclusively designed custom paint schemes, making this a prized addition to your virtual fleet. Featuring four nail-biting missions, Skychaser will build your aerobatic skills and test them to the max. - Gold Coast Cruisin’ Giving you an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the Extra as you fly from Brisbane, Australia along the Queensland coast before landing at Gold Coast Airport. Put your precision to the test as you manoeuvre through this harrowing trial. - Canyon Challenge Taking you over the peaks and through the crevasses of Yosemite National Park, you will need to perform high-speed aerobatic manoeuvres down narrow winding valleys, over steep mountaintops and other unpredictable terrain. Expect sudden twists and turns, vertical climbs, and sudden dives on this rollercoaster ride of a course. - Snowdonia Set amidst the Welsh mountains in the UK, this is a course where you must demonstrate your mastery of the Extra 330SC by clinging to the sides of mountains whilst flying at high speeds, mere feet above the surface of lakes. This mission is unforgiving with a fast and frenetic pace. - Low Level Starting at Half Moon Bay Airport in San Francisco and flying along the edge of the Pacific Ocean to a landing at Shelter Cove, you will soar over the Golden Gate Bridge and marvel at the spectacular scenery of the Sierra Nevada range. To complete this mission, you must fly the entire course at top speed and under 500ft. Are your low level aerobatic skills up for the challenge? Skychaser will launch exclusively via Steam on 1ST December 2015. The expansion pack can be purchased for £14.99 or bought together with FSX: Steam Edition for £29.99. http://dovetailgames.com

  6. Cargo Crew Takes To The Skies! Jane Whittaker and Dovetail Games are pleased to announce the release of Cargo Crew, the second exclusive add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition. Cargo Crew will also continue the support for chronically ill, double amputee 8 year old Rosie Davies, who will directly benefit from revenues received. If you have ever wondered about the life of a “freight dog”, those pilots who dedicate themselves to transporting cargo and supplies around the world then look no further than Cargo Crew. As a new pilot for a small cargo operation, you must take to the air in the airline’s trusty Douglas DC-3 Dakota (with custom updates and livery from aircraft developer Daniel Dunn, author of the AVSIM award winning Pitts Special). The pressure is on to deliver cargo on schedule right across the world, from Sydney to Shanghai, Frankfurt to Fiji. With 20 thrilling missions this is a must-have for fans of Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition. Work against the clock to deliver crucial shipments to eager clients in a series of thrilling missions that take you on an epic around-the-world trip. But as is often the case in aviation, things don’t necessarily go to plan. Navigate your way through terrifying thunderstorms, work against the clock to deliver your cargo before time runs out!, battle engine failure, airport diversions and parachute supplies to a stricken sea vessel and much more as you strive to arrive on time and to keep the Dakota flying. Developed by aviation expert Jane Whittaker and supported by the talent of voiceover star Angel Heaven Lee as your co-pilot, with over 200 lines of unique dialogue, Cargo Crew provides an opportunity to be immersed in the world of the “freight dogs”. A pilot’s guide is also included, offering a wealth of information on flying the DC-3, rightfully regarded as one of the most popular aircraft in the Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition hangar. “I wanted to share the sheer exhilaration of flying around the world in one of the most iconic aircraft ever to take flight,” said creator Jane Whittaker. “Add to that the pressures of maintaining a cargo schedule, often in difficult circumstances, and you have all the fuel required for freight flying fun.” “We are delighted to be working with Jane to deliver this second piece of exclusive new content for FSX: Steam Edition,” said Aimee Sanjari, Brand Manager at Dovetail Games. “Cargo Crew will deliver something very fresh and exciting to flight simulation fans.” Cargo Crew is available now for £12.99 UKP / $16.99 USD. If you don’t already own FSX:SE it is available in a special trio bundle of FSX:SE, Dangerous Approaches and Cargo Crew mission packs for £29.99 UKP / $39.99 USD.
