Apr 2015 - Crosswind landings

Recommended Posts

It's been a blustery start to April here in the UK and the internet is full of images of aircraft landing almost sideways!

This month's competition has the theme of "Crosswind landings". This would be a picture of any aircraft making a dodgy landing!

3 entries per user, please choose your entries carefully as they cannot be changed once a vote has been cast against them.

Please check out the rules here

To all viewers whether you post an entry or not please help us by voting for a shots you like by clicking the rep_up.png button in the bottom right corner of the entry.

Have fun.   :thum:

Taken during 2013's DC-3 Airways Rally, this was a nice cross wind end to Leg 2:

Not very picturesque - default scenery, no clouds, etc, but I was lucky to walk away from it...

Cheers - Dai. :old-git:

Perhaps not the dodgiest of landings, but a bit dodgy with the strong wind that was blowing.  But due to my exceptional flying skills, you can hardly tell. :P
