Situation files query

Recommended Posts

Having some problems re the situation files. I see the default location for P3Dv4 is the C Disc, but my sim is on my E Disc. Does this make a difference, to where you unzip the files. I've tried the default location, but nothing appears in the sim, as to the weather or situation. Totally confused !!

As per the instructions on the Downloads page, the flight situation files are placed here, C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Files, where USERNAME is your username on the computer.

This is NOT the install location of the P3D simulator files, in your case, the E drive. If you place the files in the directory mentioned above you can then access the flight situation files by clicking on "Load Scenario".

Neil,

The questions are free, it's the answers that cost you. The invoice is in the mail. :D
