All six of these, as you can guess from their geographical locations, are from the request list I started on yesterday. Two remain and will be in tomorrow's batch, hopefully along with some others from the normal lists.

The US is full of small airports and these are typical. KBVS is the only one that's remotely large or complex. That one has a unique feature I've only seen a few times in other FSX airports. One of the two runways is overlaid on a larger, wider strip of pavement with only one part of the width of it dedicated to the runway. There is, in effect some pavement along one side of the runway that is not designated as either runway or taxiway. I guess by default that makes it apron.

Some of these have some pretty narrow runways; 1WA6 is 25'; W16 is 34' and is pretty short too; 1S2 is a generous 40'. Be careful if you visit any of these, particularly in AirHauler. Who knows what evil lurks in the landclass just off these tiny little runways? AH is famous for trashing your airplane and your bankbook for off-runway arrivals. What looks like mown grass to you looks to AH like whatever the underlying landclass says it is - Urban and Forest are particularly nasty.

The two Washington airports are the last on the request list. KSNS is from one of the normal lists. I'll be back to the normal routine now, until the next request list comes in. - the next batch will have an update in it.

WA61 has a data anomaly - the Magnetic Variation in FSX for this airport is 0.0, which is not remotely in the ball park. That part of the world has a magvar of around 20 degrees east. The mistake is Microsoft's but I'm listing the data in the diagram just as I find it in FSX, so 0.0 it is on the chart.

KSNS has two plates, with a bunch of labeled taxiways.

Maybe it's in one of those weird magnetic places in the Alaskan Triangle. :whis:

Maybe so. Is there any way algore can blame that on Global Warming Climate Change?

For about 30,000 airports and associated navaids and such, they did pretty well. I do see data anomalies from time to time in a few of them but for the most part they are OK. I think the most common error/deficiency is with taxiway labeling, which is sometimes illogical, incomplete or just downright erroneous.

I do not get into the airports in detail as you do, I mostly find incorrect VOR and NDB frequencies while flying. Also once in awhile, incorrect AFIS frequencies when hand tuning from the map info. (not when using keyed ATS)

I think a lot of VORs and such have changed ID and maybe frequency over the years. If you fly with RW pubs, the further past 2006 the publication date, the more likely they will have a discrepancy against FSX. The real world changes - mostly we don't.

I take the frequencies right off the FSX map before I fly and never get some of the signals. I am flying planes with NAV that I know have worked in the past, no mountains in the way. I mentioned it because it has happened more than just once, I would even say many times.
