HI,

I have downloaded the BA connect 145 from posky's website and have a really anoying problem. THe plane doesn't come with a VC so I downloaded the VC package, the plane works fine without the VC installed but as soon as I edit the Aircraft cfg to add the VC the plane doesn't display in the aircraft selection.

I know that the readme says for FS9 only but I downloaded a ERJ 135 that said that it was only for FS9 but that works no problem.

All that happens is that the plane dosen't show up after I edit the aircraft CFG to add the VC.

I have FSX with Vista.

Please help me.

Hi TRB,

First of all, I will assume that this is one of the first times that you have attempted something like this, so I would think that the problem lies with how you are copy the text into the aircraft.cfg file.

FS needs to know what it is looking for, so you need to add the next number in sequence for the aircraft. So try adding this to the .cfg file and see what happens

The part you are told to copy has [fltsim.**] as the developer will notknow how many other additional liveries you have installed, so you need to add this part in yourself to prevent any problems. If the last number in sequence is 4, add a 5 in there etc...

Hi TRB,

Don't mean to butt in here. I have been adjusting and changing AC config.files for a while now. I noticed that the SIM is different in each of the AC config.files. Some of the problems I have run into I have found that this can cause the AC not to show. there is a "-" in the first original Sim and it's not in the second. The Sims should be the same in both.

This may not be the problem you mention but it's a start. I know it makes a big difference in adding repaints, and this would be sort of the same when it comes to changing or adding to the AC config. file.
