That's a real nice GPS you are making there, But you can eliminate all the time in building one. You should take a look at Desktop Aviators Model 2450 GPS. It has a 620x480 resolution screen (VGA input) It can be seen at: http://www.desktopaviator.com/Products/Model_2450/index.htm
