    A wee word of warning for anyone thinking that AMD's much anticipated holy grail CPU with 8 cores was worth waiting for ... its looking grim folks. It was released yesterday and the NDA was lifted, hardly any serious professional Computing web site has a good thing to say about it, early reviews from the enthusiasts that are not biased confirm the disappointment too. The results for the FX-8150 (their 8 core desktop flagship) look shocking considering the hype AMD had given this, all those ridiculous claims of 50% faster than I7 can now be looked at in the harsh light of day. I'm no fan boy
