  1. Hello to all. I have read hundreds, if not thousands of posts. Thank you all for your help. I am in the final stages of building my first computer solely for fsx. I am a real world pilot. I need help configuring my hard drives. I have 3. A Seagate 2tb hdd, a 500gb velociraptor, and a 750 gb samsung evo. For the best performance, loading times, where do I put fsx, the os, scenery, and aircraft. I plan on having a lot of payware ad ons. Thanks for all your help. Your advice has been invaluable to me. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Steve
  2. Hi everyone, My old Windows XP machine was chugging along with its 150 GB hard drive and I noticed only the other day that it was getting near to full with all my home made scenery. So I decided to simple copy and paste the FSX across to my external USB Verbatim hard drive. Then I opened this up and found the fsx.exe folder and put a link on the desk top. OK I now have a new FSX icon on the desk top so holding my breath I pressed the icon and FSX sprung into action. I tested it out and noticed that the flights load faster and flying the stock Cessna 172 is very smooth at 20 FPS
