Glenn Felkin 0 Posted May 10, 2013 Report Share Posted May 10, 2013 Cash from trips earlier during last month disappeared .Alas cannot pay this months bills .i should have had several million dollars left over after paying bills but the cash receipts showed only $607,00 earned. My DC10 earns that in 2 trips. Has this happened to anybody else. And just in case - I have no sticky fingered employees. allardjd 1,853 Posted May 10, 2013 Report Share Posted May 10, 2013 Welcome to the MH Forums, Glenn. The cash book should have a detailed list of transactions showing what has happened. Note that the cash book table must be in it's original sorted order, by date with the oldest at the top for the balance column to make any sense. It's not a spreadsheet and the cash balance field does not recalculate if you re-sort the table by clicking on a column header. Please be sure that your cash book is in fact in date order, oldest first. You may find that the money is still there or at least find where it has gone. Another possibility is an AI pilot damaging an aircraft and authorizing the insurance claim on his own. There is a way in options to manage what they can do without your approval. The next thing to check is to be sure you have the latest version of AH. Not sure how recently you bought it but disk copies are often not up to date and sometimes even downloads can be one revision back. If downloaded it's probably OK since there haven't been any changes to AH in some time. It should be Version 1.54 (SP4.1). If not, go to the JF Support pages and download and install the up to date version. If you're running the latest version and there are anomalies in the cash book that don't explain where the money went, it may be that the database is corrupt. If that's the case, Slopey (the AH Developer) will probably have you e-mail it to him and fix it for you. John Link to post Share on other sites

So if you start your comapny on the 2nd of May, every second day of the month the rent for your first base will be deducted. If you leased your first additional plane at the - let's say - 8th of May, every 8th day of the month the leasing rate will be deducted. Lots of cash disappering sounds as if a leasing rate or a loan interest was deducted. AH has a lot of bugs, but disappearing cash isn't one of them, so you might just have missed that a big-ish lease rate was collected. Link to post Share on other sites
