UKJim 502
She has not left the ground but her engines have been started - had a quick blast on my lunch as I am working from home today
rosariomanzo 545
It's a nice airplane, Jim. I'm Flying YMAV-YSCB with INS navigation and it's a great fun.
UKJim 502
It's a nice airplane, Jim. I'm Flying YMAV-YSCB with INS navigation and it's a great fun. Yeah the model I just happened to choose was using the FMC - so I did not get to see the INS version on my lunch. I am looking forward to getting her off the ground hopefully using the INS navigation. The model is quite good - the VC is OK - and the buttons/functions are typical Just Flight quality where a lot of stuff is clickable but then a lot is not. Summary though - WELL WORTH A FIVER! UKJim 502
OK had a flight - nice plane! The INS is something different that doesn't exist on any of my other planes so makes a change. Here are some more shots

hurricanemk1c 195
Enjoy the INS - it is something else when you get it finally fully working and linked to the autopilot!
UKJim 502
Enjoy the INS - it is something else when you get it finally fully working and linked to the autopilot! So I setup the INS to start flight from EGNX and then head to the coordinates of 'Chase' intersection - then I set the EGBB coords. Kicked off and started the flight - put on all autopilot settings etc and it followed the route - superb The only issue I have with this plane is the autopilot if I increase or decrease the altitude the VS is so great that it does not stabilise on the selected altitude? It just bounces above and below it? Not sure if it was something I need to setup further but it completely messed my flight up because I was not on the LOC intercept altitude due to the bouncing I will try again some other time I think - but yes the INS is great! hifly 925
I've found you've really got to slow this baby down when descending to about 230 kts then it captures altitude. This works for me. Great looker though!
