Sabre 28
Navigraph charts app now available for IPad from the App Store. Go get it guys it's really good.It seems you have to pay an annual subscription to get best use out of it? Do you get value for money?I think I would get decent use from the charts but you seem to be able to get them from VATSIM for free unless I'm getting mixed up, which is entirely possible
ferrariman15 0
Navigraph is a subscription based service yes, but it gives you the latest plates which are now supplied by Lufthansa. I don't use Vatsim any longer but from what I remember the plates that are linked to are some very old Jeppensen plates. But its obviously entirely up to you
allardjd 1,853
...are some very old Jeppensen plates. There may be something to be said for using old plates when flying a simulator that is a model of the aviation world circa 2005-6. Flying the likes of PMDG and other high-end simulations of air transport aircraft is one thing but flying the lighter types that don't happen to have an FMC that has it's own database, using modern charts is a never-ending source of frustration. Multitudes of navaids, waypoints and even airport physical features (e.g. runway numbers) on modern charts just don't match up with the sim. The further we get from 2006, the worse it gets.
