Replacement monitor

Recommended Posts

With a somewhat limited budget I want to replace my long serving 19" monitor.

I've seen a BenQ GL2250HM LED TN monitor but I'd appreciate some advice from you knowledgable folk.

My sim-ming is currently concentrated on FSX Steam.

Thanks.

Consider a television.  Almost all of them come with a VGA port and most now have HDMI ports.  There should be no problem connecting them to most any graphics card.  A 1020i or 1020p (the suffix is irrelevant if used as a monitor) will work fine (avoid the older 720s) and if you're flush the new 4K monitors (4,096 pixels wide, I think) are the bee's knees.

I agree with John above.

I recently bought a 1080 led 40" tv from Tesco for £179 and it's great.

Obviously it's not the very best but at the price its good enough and large enough for me.
