dodgy-alan 1,587
A student was tasked with taking one of the stations Beagle Bassetts from RAF Shawbury to Shobdon on a short exercise. It should have been an easy task, not a long trip, just follow the A49 south and turn right just before Leominster. However a storm in the area meant a bit of a detour and some gusty weather over the Welsh border. He got there eventually but at touchdown the wind and rain were blowing across Shobdon's runway.
