wain 879
Well I have got my rig up and running, installed all the essentials I use for the office, now installing sims and games.....XP10/11 is very easy as it is on another drive to OS and doesnt play with the windows reg...just have to reactivate any licenced stuff, however as Xaviation are taking an age to get back I needed some other addon to get rid of the default clouds...this is a freeware app just 2 LUA lines, one in Modules and one in scripts, so technically they are the default clouds still but I think they look quite good...I have it in windowed mode as I am still checking how the new CPU is running, haven't overclocked yet but did a test and it ran fine....also checking frames etc on the top, the XP counter does seem to match the readout from FRAPS...anyhow let me know what you think of me clouds, using NOAA for the weather reports etc and the AC is by Carenado, for some reason in XP11 I am not seeing any clouds but that might be NOAA's fault..... Thanks for looking, now to work on my FSX install, its running but still some things to tidy up and then we can start flying again.....I have been testing as installing into FSX and to be honest I found I was really missing XP and the ease with which you can do some things....
