dodgy-alan 1,587
To commemorate 100 years of British Airways heritage, including it's predecessors, some aircraft are being given retro paint schemes. The first of these is a Boeing 744 in the fabulous BOAC markings. Initial response across various forums has been very positive and BA have said that other liveries are to follow including the BEA "Speedjack" scheme presumably on an Airbus. The B744 has already been released as an FS2004/FSX aircraft and is a welcome addition to the hangar. I've also included some photos of the real thing for comparison as she only arrived yesterday from the paintshop! https://www.facebook.com/britishairways/ https://www.facebook.com/britishairways/videos/2525017237539281/ Edited February 19, 2019 by dodgy-alan
Lucy.P 168
I watched this live on Bigjet.tv and it was very nostalgic. It was also sad that not only is the BOAC livery of a bygone age but in the not too distant so will the 747
