First of it's line, The Gloster Meteor F1.

Been building a lot of models just lately, many of them 1/48 scale  primarily because they are easier to see what I'm doing! Also they also capture more attention at Shows than smaller scales This one is a Meteor Mk1 of 616 Sqn RAF. The Mk1s were only in service for less than 2 years before being superseded by the more capable and even more powerful Mk III. However the Mk1 remains Britains first Jet fighter to enter service.  Thanks for viewing.
