pmtos 0
Thanks for the reply. Do yu think that the a380 is the best plane for that?
allardjd 1,853
There isn't any "best" plane for that. It can be done in almost anything if you're persistent enough. They flew the Vickers Vimy from England to Australia way back when gas was a nickel a gallon. Amelia darned near made it around the world in a Lockheed Vega - she's currently overdue, however. The flight legs I suggested were more or less geared to the AC you suggested - I looked primarily for very long runways. If the AC changes, the route has to be worked out to be sure that it suits the aircraft. You'd better choose something you really like to fly though - you're going to spend a lot of time in it. pmtos 0
Hi John, I prefer flying jet planes so the runways are perfect. The plane I decide to fly will depend on how I feel that day(aka tommorrow)but i'm certain that it will be an a380, a340 or an a350. Those are all big planes and the runways you gave me are perfect so thanks and I'll put screenshots of my flight when I'm done with it.
allardjd 1,853
Pedro, Watch out for the one in Guatemala - it's at an elevation of almost 5,000 feet. John
