Thanks for the reply John.

Yes i do have the latest patch 1.54 (SP4.1) and my UAC has always been turned off :whis: run as Administator with my AV software off also results in the "FSUIPC not found in FS installation" :stars: as I said before this one has got me stumped :( .

You might try to at the AH forum on the JF site. I'm the moderator there but there's more than I can remember and the developer frequently answers questions. If you do some reading there and make a post, you might get an answer from him.

I think he recently said that the path to FS must have a trailing backslash in options. If you don't, give that a try.

Also, does FSUIPC show up in the top line menu under "Add-Ons" in FSX? If it doesn't, it's not installed and working properly.

The proof of the pudding is in FSX. Look in the top-line menu under add-ons. If there's a sub-menu pad for FSUIPC, then it's installed correctly and that's not the culprit. If it's not there, that's the problem.

OK - now, do you have a trailing backslash in the field Options -> Options -> Paths -> "Flight Sim Path \ Flight Pland Save Path" in AH?

If that's OK, I'm at the end of my abilty to suggest anything useful, other than going to the JF AH site and seeing if Slopey can help.

Yep there is a backslash there ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ ) so looks like I'm off to the JF forum next LOL :D .

Anyway thanks very much for the help John, you have helped me out a great deal with this one :thum:
