Complete - Carenado 182RG II with custom panel gauges

Recommended Posts

I am currently stuck with this plane (although I am growing to like it) for Air Hauler so I thought I would create a basic, clean paint job for it. Eventually I will have a company logo on the door and maybe some go fast abstract stripes down the sides too - but for now this is how it looks.

I have also upgraded the old equipment with some SimFlyer modern tech - so now it has a nice autopilot that can hold altitude and heading just fine, some good radio equipment too. I was going to buy some RealityXP gauges but the SimFlyer stuff was a fair bit cheaper and would do the job for me :)

So here it is...

Good idea, Jim ! Nice looking also ! Maybe you open a maintenance hangar and we visit you for a update and overhaul...hehe :thum:

Unfortunately I'm too busy to do this with the son and work - but if anyone buys this pack I dnt mind helping out! Took me a whole day to do :)

Sabre thanks man, I will maybe modify my post to show a before and after shot!

Just to blow my own trumpet bit more - this was all done using notepad by hand ;)

UPDATE: I have now added some more pictures to original post

Cor! I like that, you have a very nice fleet in the making, there Jim :) .

Cheer's...Graham...

Cheers - Carenado have split this middle section up into 3 sections in the model so my plan to have a gns530 and a wx radar beneath it wudnt work!

My next project is modifying my new C208B cockpit :)
